JOB DESCRIPTION
theMednet is looking for an academic internist to join our team of engineers and academic physicians. You would be working with friendly, like-minded peers who are passionate about medical education and improving patient care. We are an ego-free environment and are laser focused on our mission of helping physicians deliver the best care to their patients. theMednet values a healthy work-life balance with full benefits and the potential to work remotely if needed. Plus, there are no EMRs or insurance companies to deal with! One day out of the week or one week of every 6-8 weeks may be used for direct patient care. The current full time physicians at theMednet maintain clinical practices 1 day/week and their faculty appointments.
The Medical Director of Internal Medicine will head content, engagement, and expansion of our internal medicine subspecialities (excluding oncology). He or she will establish relationships with physicians all over the country, establish new engagement initiatives, and oversee site moderation and expansion into further subspecialties.
