AI Guidelines for Physicians
Mednet is built on authentic physician expertise. These guidelines ensure the integrity and credibility of our community's contributions.
1. Personal Expertise
Physicians must provide original answers drawing from their professional knowledge and experience rather than generic responses. The value of Mednet lies in the real-world clinical insight that only practicing physicians can offer.
2. Use of AI
Generating an answer from an AI tool and posting it on Mednet is strictly prohibited. AI may only be used to assist in organizing a physician's own ideas, similar to using a scribe. The substance and clinical judgment must come from the physician themselves.
3. References
All citations must be personally vetted by the physician posting them. Physicians are responsible for confirming the credibility and relevance of every reference they include in their responses.
Enforcement
Content violating these guidelines will be removed. Repeated violations may result in revoked community privileges.
