Are there any situations you would recommend prophylactic anticoagulation for a patient with Factor V heterozygosity?  

FVL heterozygotes are often treated similarly to the general population. Aside from avoiding other VTE risk factors, are there situations where prophylaxis may be indicated where typically not done in the general population (low-risk surgery, obstetrics, strong family history but no personal history, etc.)?
