Can cinacalcet be used in primary hyperparathyroidism to determine if mild/moderate hypercalcemia is responsible for non-specific complaints?
In other words, can a trial of normalizing calcium with the drug help determine which patients are likely to have symptomatic benefit from parathyroidectomy when they don't meet any of the more concrete indications?
