Do you advise a colleague to refrain from using CSFs (colony stimulating factors) when not indicated?

There are times where CSFs may be administered prophylactically or for an afebrile neutropenia patient, which goes against ASCO's recommendations (http://www.asco.org/guidelines/wbcgf). What is your approach to this?
