Do you avoid glucocorticoid steroid use in a pediatric patient receiving allogeneic bone marrow transplant for non-malignant vs malignant disease?

Specifically do you avoid using steroids during conditioning chemotherapy and during the post transplant time period when the patient has not yet engrafted? Are you concerned about steroids decreasing engraftment? Are you concerned about steroids decreasing graft vs leukemia effect?
