Do you ever offer TKI to induce radioiodine sensitization in patients with differentiated but radioiodine refractory BRAF V600E mutant metastatic thyroid cancer and low/asymptomatic disease burden who might otherwise be appropriate candidates for observation?
There are several small published case series of this approach including Ho et al NEJM 2013, Rothenberg et al CCR 2015, and Dunn et al J Clin Endocrine Metab 2019.
