Do you recommend any PSMA PET agent over another?
Is there a reason to choose Pylarify (piflufolastat F 18) or Gallium 68 PSMA-11? If so, are there different rates of detection? Are there logistical benefits?

PyL aka PYLARIFY (18F-DCFPyL) and 68GaPSMA-11 are the two agents commonly used on PSMA scanning in the US.
Some have said PyL might be slightly better, however, even proponents admit only rarely with clinical significance.

There are, to my knowledge, no significant differences and we offer either depending on availability at our various locations. Some thought indicates the image quality may be slightly better with 18F-PyL PET due to a lower positron energy.
