Do you recommend the use of IV iron to treat hair loss in an adolescent patient with iron deficiency without anemia?

Adolescent female with hair loss and iron deficiency (no anemia) was referred by dermatology for IV iron. Is there any evidence to support ferritin >50 for the treatment of hair loss?
