Do you restrict topical diclofenac use in your patients with chronic kidney disease?

It’s the lesser of two evils if Tylenol is not enough and narcotics have problems too. So I am never dogmatic no topical NSAIDS.

I would normally not restrict topical diclofenac because the absorption is very minimal and it is better than oral NSAIDs in CKD population.
