Do you use daptomycin interchangeably with staphylococcal beta-lactams for ease of dosing on discharge for patients with serious MSSA infections (endocarditis, bacteremias, etc)?

I do use daptomycin for staphylococcal orthopedic implant-associated infections. While there might be signal of superiority of beta-lactams in bacteremia, they have poor biofilm activity.
