Do you have a set of labs to rule out underlying clotting disorders in patients prior to starting oral tranexamic acid for melasma?
I usually dont order labs prior to starting oral TXA but I’ve had a few patients who want to start oral TXA who might have predisposition to a hypercoaguable state based on their history.
