For a contact allergy, do you need to test for the metals individually or does it suffice to just test with a piece of metal from the device?
Patient is getting a device for PFO closure that contains nickel, platinum, and titanium. Is it OK to just use the piece of metal from the manufacturer or should the metals be test individually as well?
