For patients with evidence of CSPH (small varices or noninvasive CSPH markers) who also have imaging-only (grade 1) ascites, do you start a nonselective beta-blocker as primary prophylaxis against first overt decompensation, or do you consider ascites itself as decompensation that changes the goalposts?
