How do you approach contraception and pregnancy counseling in women of childbearing age with Desmoid tumors who may be contemplating future pregnancy?

Since desmoid tumors are associated with high estrogen states, is there an optimal contraception approach? Is there an optimal time for pregnancy? How do you monitor during pregnancy? Do underlying inherited genetic conditions such as FAP influence your approach?
