How do you decide which commercially available pharmacogenetic test to use for your patients?

Are there specific testing companies you prefer? How do you weigh the differences between options such as GeneSight and Genomind? In what situations would you choose one over the other, or consider an alternative company?

Depends on what you're looking for - if you're looking for the MTHFR gene mutation where Deplin can be used or something else as in an HLA one for lamotrigine. Each company tests for different things - it's not always about CYP, there's other things that need to be taken into account...
