How do you determine the timing of surgical intervention for traumatic cataracts in children?

I agree with Dr. @Indaram.
Many things must be considered when a traumatic cataract is present in children.
First and foremost, is the eye inflamed from the trauma? Has the capsular bag ruptured? If this is present, urgent cataract surgery will be needed.
