No, with thrombosis one would not inhibit the thrombolytic pathway. Would anticoagulate with Coumadin with low INR 1.5 to 2.

I think it would depend on the history regarding the VTE. If it occurred in the setting of a strong provoking factor which has since been resolved, her VTE risk now may be minimal.
