Is imaging necessary after Pluvicto or Lutathera infusions to verify the dose?

The term "verify the dose" can mean two distinct things, with different answers:

1. Confirming biodistribution/injection integrity (that the agent went where intended and was not extravasated): a single planar or SPECT image is a reasonable, easily obtained check.
2. Quantitative dosimetry (measuring abso...

No imaging is not needed (yet). Hopefully, in the future, dose calculation during the course of treatment will add value. But for routine care now, this is not a requirement, although some are doing it and anecdotally have found it helpful in certain cases
