Is it better to give dose 2 of the mRNA 2024-2025 Covid-19 vaccine at month 2 or month 6 after dose 1 in moderately immunocompromised patients?

Is there any data to suggest one time-frame is better than the other? The CDC states give "2024–2025 Dose 2 (Moderna, Novavax or Pfizer-BioNTech): 6 months (minimum interval 2 months) after 2024–2025 Dose 1".
