Is there a minimal threshold for sleep efficiency to consider in-lab polysomnography (PSG) valid?

I am not aware of a minimum threshold for sleep efficiency. Most would go by the amount of total sleep time (> 4 hours), although a lack of any REM sleep (< 5%) would also be of concern to document validity.
