Is there a role for using continuous glucose monitors for perioperative glucose monitoring in patients with diabetes?

How do you currently utilize continuous glucose monitors for perioperative glucose monitoring in patients with diabetes?

• I routinely use CGMs during the perioperative period for all patients with diabetes
• I allow patients to continue using their own CGMs, but rely primarily on traditional glucose monitoring methods
• I use CGMs selectively in high-risk patients (e.g., those at risk of hypoglycemia or with poorly controlled diabetes)
• I do not routinely use CGMs in the perioperative period due to concerns about accuracy
• I am considering integrating CGMs into perioperative care but have not yet implemented them
