What additional workup would you perform to evaluate a new onset of spontaneous hemarthrosis?
Young adult male previously without bleeding diathesis and no family history. Platelet count, PT, and PTT are normal. Also normal factor 8, 9, 12, 7, 13, vWF antigen and activity, thrombin time, and PFA. Would chromogenic factor 8 testing have any role? When would you consider genetic testing?

The workup that you've outlined is essentially complete.
- Would rule out any possible medication/supplement effects,
- Would consider the possibility of a vascular fragility syndrome (EDS) or other connective tissue disease,
