What has been your experience with the new ADHD medication centanafadine?

Centanafadine (brand name Simtriyo) was approved by the FDA for treatment of ADHD in July 2026. It is a norepinephrine, dopamine, and serotonin reuptake inhibitor. Have you used it or seen it used in practice? How would you decide to start this medication vs. non-stimulant other options?

Centanafadine was FDA-approved, but it has not been scheduled by the DEA yet; thus, it is not yet commercially available.
