What is the best way to manage functionally limiting, medically refractory reflux/regurgitation from an embedded esophageal stent for a locally advanced esophageal cancer in patient who cannot undergo esophagectomy/resection?

Stent was placed at initial diagnosis for malignant obstruction and patient subsequently completed chemoRT to 50.4 Gy, but continues to have ongoing reflux/regurgitation that started after stent placement, now 3 months post-chemoRT with persistent symptoms that are medically refractory to dual/triple anti-reflux regimen, functionally limiting, and ultimately resulting in >20% weight loss due to poor PO tolerance. Stent removal attempted x2 but failed/aborted due to significant tissue overgrowth embedding the stent. Denies odynophagia and radiographically NED by PET/CT 3 months post-treatment but unfortunately cannot undergo esophagectomy/resection due to multiple barriers.
