What is your approach when evaluating a child brought in by parents who suspect PANS/PANDAS as the cause of the child's psychiatric symptoms?  

I expect that this question will prompt a variety of answers, as there is still a lot of uncertainty about the true prevalence of PANS/PANDAS and its treatment.
