Patients are charged $100 for a no-show or cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment. The keys to making this policy work:

  1. They are told at the time the appointment is made, and at the 2-week and 48-hour appointment reminders.

I do the very same thing. I simply don't see them again after 3 no-shows, as I believe these patients are not serious about keeping their appointments, and they prevent others that need to be seen.
