Not routinely. In a patient with pure small cell carcinoma of the prostate (meaning no adenocarcinoma features on any of the cores), I have treated with 45 Gy in 30Fx BID to the prostate and gross node, 37.5 Gy in 30Fx BID to the elective nodal volumes.
