Would you consider upfront, time-limited anti-IL-5 therapy for I-HES or L-HES to avoid steroid side effects?
Steroids are often recommended upfront with slow taper over weeks/months with repeat evaluation to see if there is rebound eosinophilia. However, the prolonged exposure to steroids come with a number of side effects. Has your practice moved towards trying a time-limited anti-IL-5 therapy upfront instead?
