There is no role for hemodialysis following the GAD preparations we use these days.

No. I believe the risk of NSF is now low enough for one to just wait until the fistula is working again. I would not subject the patient to a line placement.

Probably yes, because most likely they'll need that catheter to have dialysis anyway before the fistula repair. If the repair is planned for the next day, I would probably hold off.
