Would you recommend adjuvant abemaciclib for ER+ HER2 neg inflammatory breast cancer who do not achieve pCR with neoadjuvant chemotherapy?
MONARCHE added an amendment to their protocol to exclude inflammatory breast cancer so they technically would not qualify for the trial though it's hard to see how many if any were enrolled prior to the amendment.

I would certainly consider it. It would be helpful to have additional information:
- How many LN were positive at diagnosis?
- What is Ki-67?
- Grade--likely grade 3 for inflammatory
- How much residual disease at surgery?
Though none has given definitive answers to assist, these factors could play roles...

Most studies exclude inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) not because the investigators think the treatment would not work in IBC but because they are afraid the inclusion of IBC would muddle their results. monarchE was designed for high-risk ER+/HER2- disease. And IBC is certainly a high-risk disease. ...
