Would you recommend adjuvant chemotherapy for a Stage II colon cancer patient who has negative ctDNA but presented with obstruction?
For a young patient (<40 years old) with a Stage IIA (pT3N0), pMMR, descending colon adenocarcinoma who presented to the hospital with obstruction, would you offer adjuvant chemotherapy? ctDNA is negative post-op.
And if so, would you offer doublet therapy or single-agent 5-FU?

I often tell my patients that, where the field of liquid biopsy is at present, we have not too many concerns about the positive ctDNA results. It’s the negative ctDNA results that one has to be careful with.
