Limited series in the past where only brachytherapy alone was done for salvage without EBRT reported high pelvic nodal relapse.

I worry about local as well as nodal recurrences because the dose at depth tends to be low from intracavitary and it can be difficult to determine the depth of the CTV at risk for microscopic disease in such cases.
