Are there any special considerations for treatment of metastatic acral melanoma?

In general, acral melanoma is a higher-risk disease. There are higher rates of acquired and primary resistance. I tend to treat these patients aggressively and lean towards ipi/nivo in these patients. Will consider Nivo/Rela if poor performance status.
