Hi. Great question. I looked the prophylactic HO data at our center here at the East Orange VA in 2012 (37 PTs treated over 2 years) and the youngest patient we irradiated for HO prevention was 45 yrs. But to your question of irradiating some as young as you note, would be very problematic for me.
