There are currently no standard guidelines regarding VTE prophylaxis in patients undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) for ovarian cancer. ASCO recommends against routine use for patients receiving chemotherapy who are at average risk, but "suggest" prophylaxis in patients at high risk.
