This is a difficult question to answer since there is little if any data for guidance, and also the management of this issue is evolving with regards to the increasing impetus to treat oligometastatic disease aggressively, and the increasing use of immunotherapy in patients.

I do not always recommend "consolidative" RT for oligometastatic disease if the lesion/ lesions are stable. I do, however, occasionally use SBRT for 1-2 lesions that are not responding to immunotherapy and are progressing. I have done this for progressively enlarging lung metastases.
