Is there a preferred anticoagulant for intracardiac thrombus?

DOAC use is associated with higher rates of stroke and systemic embolism than warfarin for left ventricular thrombi in a multicenter, retrospective analysis. Although we typically use DOACs for DVT/PE, is there a preferred anticoagulation strategy with right-sided thrombi?
