Would you consider anti-fibrinolytics for heavy menses in patients with a history of VTE?
Ob/gyn is in process of adjusting therapies to manage heavy menses--OCPs, progesterone IUDs, but still having significant bleeding in the meantime.
Single VTE >3 months prior. Would your thoughts change if they had an acute or recurrent VTE?
