  • Symptoms (burden and severity)
  • PVC burden (>15-20% may lead to a cardiomyopathy)
  • Presence of LV dysfunction
  • Interference with bi-ventricular pacing
  • PVCs triggering VT or VF

Most studies have shown that PVC burden>10% may be associated with cardiomyopathy.

Criteria for PVC ablation:

  • Symptomatic PVCs if the burden is >10% and medications not tolerated or ineffective,
  • PVC induced cardiomyopathy, and
