What has been your experience with occluder contact lenses for intractable diplopia?

Is there a particular brand you recommend?

Poor, I’ve had better luck with scotch tape on one glasses lens placed in the center. It usually only needs a piece about an inch by an inch. This allows peripheral vision. Unfortunately, many don’t want to do this.

If you're doing SCL, might as well do monovision.
IF they tolerate it, no diplopia. And gives a useful vision.
I use any daily lens.

Fogging with a + SCL works fine, but I have never had a patient do it long-term.

For tape and glasses, I use semi-opaque surgical tape on the back of the patient's glas...
