When radiation therapy is utilized, what should the radiation therapy treatment fields include and what imaging studies should be completed to assist with the RT plan and management? Should an EGD be completed to rule out gastric MALT lympoma? Is there a role for doxycycline antibiotic therapy prior to RT? When radiation therapy is used, what is the best radiation modality, electron therapy with placement of an eye shield, or photons with bolus? What is the risk of cataract formation or dry eye with radiation therapy treatment?
