What is your strategy to help prevent paclitaxel-related neuropathy?

Do you prophylactically start all patients on B12, B-complex, and/or omega-3? If so, what dose? What about ice mittens and booties?

There are no proven strategies for prevention of CIPN and the use of these supplements is not recommended. None. There is not yet data to support. If patients ask about them, I would say low likelihood of harm therefore I don't specifically recommend against, but I want to be mindful that there is the potential of financial toxicity - many CAM methods add up in price.
