I find success with topical tacrolimus or pimecrolimus used daily for maintenance. Have also had patients alternate this with Calcipotriene or ketoconazole cream (in cases with concern for yeast superinfection). Will also have patients use a mid-potency topical steroid once or twice weekly if needed...
