When (if ever) do you consider radiation therapy as adjuvant treatment for GIST?
a. For example, an 8cm rectal GIST that was incompletely excised (assuming the patient will be receiving imatinib). b. Additionally, would you ever consider RT for palliation of metastatic GIST? c. If so, would you utilize a standard palliative dose and fractionation schema?

I would NOT consider radiation as adjuvant treatment for GIST. A diagnosed GIST tumor is standardly treated with Imatinib as medical therapy in the first line.
