Would you approach a salvage case post prostatectomy differently in a patient with a piece of broken metallic surgical tool located in the prostate bed?

In this case where "a broken piece of surgical tool is located in the prostate fossa" in a patient who may now requires EBRT.

My initial thoughts are:

1. Consider if there is any legal action ongoing or in the past regarding the case?
