Would you complete a bone marrow biopsy for an unexplained macrocytosis without anemia?  

In a patient with mild to moderate macrocytosis without cytopenia, and after assessing for potential contributing factors including paraproteinemia, liver disease, hypothyroidism, hemolysis, medication-induced, no plausible explanation is found, would you proceed with a bone marrow biopsy to complete the workup or do you usually consider this as a possible benign variant that requires periodic monitoring?
