Type B aortic dissections are generally managed by vascular surgeons using endovascular techniques or surgery. Anticoagulation is not recommended for partial false lumen thrombosis. Not sure this would be helpful, but in such situations, I defer to the vascular surgeon regarding anticoagulation for thrombus in the dissection flap.
