I completely agree with Dr. @Dr. First Last's response. Dr. Kendra Harris taught me not to mess with the platelets, so I watch these closely. The Grade 5 events in the VISION trial were bleeding-related.

There are guidelines from EANM/SNMMI (Kratochwil et al., PMID 37246997) that do a good job IMO of discussing relative contraindications and are available for free from PMC. I personally use the following as absolute contraindications in community practice:

  • GFR <30
  • ECOG 3+
  • Active infection
