In which clinical scenarios do you use 48-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring over standard 24-hour monitoring in patients with hypertensive kidney disease?

• In hemodialysis patients to capture BP patterns across both dialysis and non-dialysis days
• When the initial 24-hour recording is technically inadequate or has insufficient readings
• When white coat or masked hypertension cannot be confirmed on a single 24-hour study
• I do not use 48-hour ABPM outside of a research setting
